Family Promise Supply Drive: Saturday May 2, 9am-12pm, St. Pius Church
Family Promise provides shelter, meals, and comprehensive support to families without homes. It is the only shelter program in the area serving entire families, incuding married couples, single dads, and teen boys.
TheBudgetQueen.com is hosting a drive for some desperately needed supplies for the new Family Promise Day Center. Please drive through and drop off your donations at St.Pius Church on Saturday May 2, 2009 from 9am to 12pm. Volunteers will be there to help you take your donations out of your car so that you can be on your way in no time. If you would like to volunteer for this drive, please contact teresa_theriot@yahoo.com.
The Family Promise wish list includes: trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, paper cups, paper plates, paper bowls, plastic utensils, napkins, toiletries of any kind, feminine hygeine products, diapers of all sizes, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, non-perishable microwave dinners, snacks, ramen noodles, copy paper, crayons, coloring books, children's activities, and general operating funds.
